About Martin's Portfolio
Martin’s Shadow portfolio is Education. As a Shadow Minister, Martin has two roles;
i. To keep the Government and the Education Minister accountable for their actions.
ii. To prepare for Government by developing networks and policies.
The Education portfolio covers all activities such as; buildings, maintenance, curriculum, programs, staffing, budgets, registration, governance etc. The portfolio also includes State Government involvement in, and funding of Catholic and Independent Schools.
